Health Club at peak of fitness seeks friendly and approachable Receptionist / Membership assistant.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a Receptionist / Membership Assistant at The Health Club. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate significant expertise of operating in a busy customer focused environment and possess a passion for providing fantastic customer service.

 

Interested in:

Enthusiastic Receptionist with good interpersonal, administration and computer skills. The chosen candidate will work in a small team carrying out a variety of duties whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the Health Club department.

 

The main duties of this role will be:

  • Assisting the Health Club team in their day-to day needs.
  • Meeting and greeting a range of clients and visitors in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Answering the telephone in a prompt, efficient way in order to direct callers to the appropriate contact point.
  • Provision of administration support to other members of the team when required.
  • Conducting guided tours of the facilities for potential members.
  • Assisting new members with the membership sign-up process.
  • Handling requests for membership freezes and cancellations.
  • Responding to membership-related questions and concerns via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Provide information about membership plans, benefits, and facility usage.

  • Good communication and people skills
  • Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure
  • Ability to work on their own initiative within a work environment
  • Excellent PC skills – all Microsoft office packages
  • Operate within a team environment

 

Availability:

We have 1 permanent, part time position offering 14 hours per week over 2 days, covering an operation which is open 7 days a week. Full flexibility to cover weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential, together with the willingness to provide additional support to cover staff absence.

 

Salary:
